The Core Course
Course providing basic knowledge and
skills on mission work, including the roles of the UN, AU and ECOWAS,
other international organizations and actors in the field; human
rights issues; conflict management; gender and cultural awareness;
safety and security stress management and working with Trauma. It is
foreseen that those trainees without previous mission experience
will participate in the core course prior to attending a
function-specific course.
